This is my dog; Geistlige Kaizer av Vinterborgen

This is my
Alaskan Malamute:
"Kaizer". Now he is 40 kg and a cool, calm and lovely dog. He love to be with his family and enjoying outdoor life. He also love to eat on every furniture in our house if we live him alone home. He don`t bark! And that`s an advantage since we aso have an Norwegian grey Moose dog which loves barking:)

Take part in this debate about ICT in school!

This is my topic:
"ICT as learning arena for knowledge and digital education  in school? - what do you mean?"

I want to start a debate about this topic because i mean that ICT is imoprtant in school as learning arena. There is lots of positive aspects using this media in education, but there are disadvantages too. I want Pro`s and Con`s - that will give me an much more fuller task - so come on! Give me all your meanings about this topics.

I work as a teacher at a small school in The Rock City; Namsos. We have about 100 pupils from 1`st - 10`th grade. We use ICT in all levels. I see lots of advantages using this media, but experiences tells me that some pupils use ICT as entertainment at school.

We also know that such open comunication like this is - there are possibilities for someone to exploit this opportunity. The pupils can use the time at school for: computer games, bullying others, entertainment with other things than learning. And we know that some people have bad intentions with reaching children on social media. Should the school because of this reduse the use of ICT? Is it the school`s liability to educate children digital? Or is it the parents?

I think that ICT in school is very positive and give the teachers mush more possibilities for making an exciting education - and we know that ICT - knowledge is very important in todays workinglife. Tell me a profession that don`t uses ICT?
For example: why dont use blogs and socail media in language education? The pupils have an audience and they have to write correct, they see the relevanse in their own life to learn other languages. By "talking" English with youths in other parts of the world they learn about the culture, they learn the language and they learn social rules - a fantastic and funny way of learning. I will clame that this is better than reading in a book and doing tasks. of course we have to do that too, but we can do the education more varied - and that is important in adapted education - the pupils write on their own level and experience succes. A valuable element in school!

Do you have another ideas for using ICT? What is your arguments for using ICT?
